Just got back from my interview and it went really really well! He gave me thumbs up to further my application and I should have my nomination (assigment area, region and general departure date) by the end of the day! WAHOO!!!!

The only things that make me leary were that I most likely will have to change my diet (which I was just getting use to) and I might not be able to run. It all depends on where I go and if I can get them to understand I'm an athlete. Also, depending where I go, I might have to only wear long sleeve shirts in public. Yes, the tattoo is coming back to haunt me. But these seem like minor things that I will deal with in exchange for what I have to the potential to learn and do.

Will keep you posted on my location as soon as I know!

ah..nothing like a choice you made at 18 to keep you from completely being yourself (9 times out of 10 I can't wear a skirt to work because of my tatoo..stupid if you ask me)..

anywho...congrats on your new adventure!
